Utah community rallies around restaurant owner after burglary

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah — The proprietor of Los Tapatios Taco Grill, a Mexican restaurant in Taylorsville, is making an attempt to choose up the items and transfer ahead after a housebreaking.

Los Tapatios proprietor Alejandro Maya received began by serving birria tacos in Rose Park.

“We began this enterprise so we may share just a little little bit of our tradition and our meals,” Maya stated. 

Since then Los Tapatios has expanded to extra places, together with the Taylorsville retailer which was robbed.

When workers arrived on Friday, June 21, to open the restaurant they observed the again door was damaged. Maya realized the restaurant had been burglarized.

“They’ve taken the DVR from the digital camera, the register field, some meals, some provides and stock (and) audio system,” he stated.

Maya didn’t notice that no one had set the restaurant’s digital camera system to again up on the cloud. He hopes different enterprise homeowners will study from the scenario.

Since sharing what occurred on social media, Maya’s observed extra group help.

“We’ve simply been getting a lot help from a lot folks … The group looks like they’re popping out,” Maya stated.

The Los Tapatios homeowners hope the group will come go to the restaurant and provides their meals a attempt to assist recoup its losses.
