Southwestern Star Dip Recipe: A Tasty Baked Dish with a Star-Shaped Tomato

Makes: 2-2/3 cups / Whole Time: 30 minutes

Components:

  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 can (4-1/2 ounces) chopped ripe olives, drained, divided
  • 1 can (4 ounces) chopped inexperienced chiles, undrained
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon scorching pepper sauce
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped inexperienced onions
  • Tortilla chips

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix cheese, mayonnaise, 1/3 cup olives, chiles, garlic powder and scorching pepper sauce. Switch to an ungreased 9-in. pie plate. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 minutes or till scorching and bubbly. Sprinkle tomato on high within the form of a star; define with remaining olives. Sprinkle onions across the star. Serve with tortilla chips.
