Through the month of June, we rejoice Dairy Month by inviting Lancaster Farming readers to submit beloved recipes that includes dairy components. Here is a batch from our June 29, 2024 subject.
Nephew Dakota, who turns 2 in July, having fun with a few of Auntie Jens’ iced espresso.
Easy Iced Espresso Focus
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup instantaneous espresso
- 1-1/4 cups sugar or 1-1/2 teaspoon liquid stevia
- 2 tablespoons vanilla (optionally available)
- Milk
- Ice
Deliver water and low to a boil. Add sugar or stevia. Take off warmth and add vanilla. Cool and retailer in fridge.
To make drink: Pour 1/4 cup focus (I typically want rather less) over ice in a 16 ounce glass. Fill with milk.
Elective: High with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon
Be aware: I want the stevia sweetened model — much less sugar and energy — nevertheless it’s scrumptious sweetened with sugar as nicely.
Fast and simple to make. Get pleasure from!
