MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Buckley’s, a well-loved East Memphis steakhouse, has closed, its house owners say.

The final day of enterprise for the restaurant at 5355 Poplar was Sunday. 


Buckley’s opened in 1994. It was acknowledged by Southern Residing journal final 12 months as one of many “South’s Most Legendary Steakhouses.”

The house owners didn’t give a purpose for the sudden closure. Accomplice Jeff Fioranelli despatched the next assertion:

“It was an awesome run and now I’ve the chance to pursue different passions. Not the least of which is spending extra nights at residence with my spouse and son. I hope they’re prepared!  Thanks, Memphis!”

Buckley’s is the most recent of a number of Memphis eating places to shut or announce they’re closing just lately. The listing consists of 117 Prime, Bounty on Broad, Dory, Frank Grisanti’s, Maximo’s on Broad, SupperClub on Second, and The Cheesecake Manufacturing facility.
