BOSTON (WHDH) – Firefighters have been battling a blaze at a former restaurant in Boston’s Theater District Monday evening, the Boston Fireplace Division confirmed.

Fireplace crews used a number of ladders and hoses to spray water on the website of the previous Jacob Wirth Restaurant on Stuart Avenue. The highest of the constructing gave the impression to be charred.

The engulfed constructing is below building, in accordance with the Boston Fireplace Division.

At 11:14 p.m., the division announced on X that every one firefighters had been ordered out of the constructing.

Police have been on scene attempting to maintain folks away from the constructing, as many spectators congregated round 11:30 p.m.

As of 11:38 p.m., fireplace crews have been attacking the blaze from all instructions, utilizing the parking storage subsequent door to spray the flames, the division stated on X.

Mobile phone movies confirmed flames flying out of the highest of the constructing whereas rain pelted Stuart Avenue.
