Detectives in Wilson County and Mt. Juliet are investigating a capturing in a single day Friday into Saturday that killed a 27-year-old man after an armed theft, in line with police.

At roughly midnight, the Wilson County Sheriff’s Workplace responded to a report of a capturing at Cedar Creek Marina situated at 9120 Saundersville Highway.

Wilson County deputies and Mt. Juliet cops imagine the capturing adopted an armed theft and occurred as suspects had been leaving the scene, in line with the preliminary investigation.

The sufferer was situated unresponsive within the parking zone with gunshot accidents. Police tried remedy till the arrival of paramedics.

Mt. Juliet police described the sufferer who died as an “harmless bystander.” The sufferer was not instantly recognized.

The armed theft occurred shortly after the Cedar Creek Marina restaurant had closed, police stated. Suspects assaulted two employees members who had been pressured to open the money protected, police stated. Each staff had been handled and launched by medics on the scene, police stated.
