VINTON, Va. (WFXR)– Roanoke County Fireplace and Rescue reported no accidents after responding to a hearth on the Dogwood restaurant in Vinton on Monday, June 24.

In accordance with the hearth division, crews responded at 2:07 p.m. to the restaurant on the 100 block of E. Lee Ave on a report of a industrial construction hearth. Models arrived and located smoke displaying from the alleyway behind the restaurant.


Crews reportedly had been in a position to deliver the hearth below management in lower than 10 minutes. Nobody shall be displaced and there have been no accidents from the scene.

The injury to the hearth was contained in some trash cans, an HVAC unit, and a plastic ashtray. The fireplace division says the restaurant itself didn’t maintain any injury and can stay open.

The Roanoke County Fireplace Marshal’s Workplace stories that the reason for the hearth was on account of improperly discarded smoking supplies which prompted round $15,000 in injury.
